I started graduate school, moved to a new city, got a nice internship and have had two birthdays since my last update.  Yes I've been writing, actually daily, but have refrained from posting here. Wow...have I been gone from deviantart that long.  Things have changed around here.  I guess I'll give an update as I haven't done that in a while.  I'll be moving to Chicago in a couple weeks to pursue a double master's in International Studies and Economics.  I'm excited about going back to school and Chicago in general. It's truly a beautiful city.  I'm really considering taking up spoken word in the windy city as well.  I've never done it, but I've been considering doing it for a while.  I've been writing poetry like crazy, but haven't been posting to this site.    I guess the fact that anyone can download/cut and paste my prose bothers m

A Necessary Evil

So a couple days back a get an email from Northwestern University stating that if I apply to their school they'd waive my application fees.  I'm excited, especially since they're ranked tenth in the nation, but I don't have my LSAT scores yet.  So I'm forced to sit and wait until I get my scores back so I can officially know my chances of getting into such a great school.  Most of the schools I'm applying to have a dual degree JD/MA International Economic Policy program because I see myself doing economic related work during my career.  This weekend I plan to write my statement of purpose.  I hate writing those because they're so superficial.
